Golden Dragon, The Witcher 3 triumphs the “Oscars” of the Italian game here is all the prizes – The Messenger

True, the triumph of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was announced. The video game developed by Polish studio CD Projekt RED and published by Namco Bandai Entertainment, as well as being named Best videogame of 2015 and Best role-playing game, has also brought home the Special Prize of the public. But the fourth edition of the Golden Dragon, the “Oscars” of the Italian game organized by Aesvi, some surprise was still reserved. Starting from the fact the game’s most awarded during the event which was held at Tampio was an outsider of Hadrian in Rome: Her Story , an independent title of Sam Barlow who took three statuettes at home (Best app, Best indie video game and most innovative video game). One of those games where both counts the underlying concept and the script, and very little graphics. a clear sign of the maturation of a world, the videogame, which now can be considered an integral part of the culture industry, next to the cinema and literature.

Another surprise comes from the Golden Dragon Italian, the prize dedicated to developers of Italy . A triumph was a whole Roman reality, Storm in a Teacup, headquartered in Torrino: their videogame N.E.R.O. Nothing Ever Remains Obscure has won, in addition to the award for the best artistic achievement, also the most important one, for Best Italian game. also success for Milestone, which with Ride has won the statuette for Best technical achievement and Indomitus games, which won the award for Best Game Design with In verbis virtus .

This edition of the Golden Dragon was in fact dominated by indie titles so that Ori and the blind forest , moving Moon Studios video game published by Microsoft, has won the statuettes for Best platformer video game and Best Original score.

But it has aroused awe even the absence of “giants” of the Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and Metal Gear Solid V : the phantom pain in the list of award-winning titles: the Ubisoft videogame and what Konami have been some of the biggest hits of 2015 but they are not able to dull in any of the twenty categories of the Golden Dragon. Metal Gear Solid, however, was the protagonist of the tribute that, during the evening presented by Francesco Facchinetti and Tess Masazza, the song “The man who sold the world” was dedicated to the great David Bowie: it is contained in its soundtrack.
