Facebook: the reaction of the social network

Even the press office of the app instant messages has released a statement, saying that they are amazed by the extreme reaction taken by Brazilian security agencies, and informing that WhatsApp did not provide that information, simply because it does not possess. The company has agreed to work towards solving the case, pointing out that despite the respect of the judiciary decisions, disagree with this decision.
Facebook Vs Brazil
it is not the first time that the Brazilian judiciary collides with the social network. the block for 48 hours WhatsApp to another survey on the drug Last December, a court in the state of Sao Paulo, had sought and obtained. Even at that Facebook refused to transfer the information required by the judicial authorities, and the block was the penalty ordered by the court. Another case occurred in February of 2015, when a judge in the Northeast asked the application to crash to push Facebook to cooperate with the police to ensure access to the personal data, as part of an investigation on some pedophiles acting online.
Other cases
in 2012, a measure similar to that which affected the Facebook’s vice president for South America, hit the general director of Google Brazil , Fabio Jose Silva Coelho, who was arrested in Sao Paulo for disobedience to the authorities. In fact, on that occasion the Brazilian Judiciary had called for the removal of some video content YouTube on a candidate in a local election, which was considered “defamed” by the content of movies.
