The Google Glass in Enterprise Edition: the stuff of professionals and companies – Intelligonews

Google relaunches the project of Glass, the “smart glasses”, project finally shelved after his debut in the Explorer version for developers, and after a first launch commercial suspended earlier this year.

The project Google Glass was defined by many “failed” due to commercial failure had initially apparent. Actually Google Glass has never had a real marketing as it is sold as a solution for developers to big bucks.

Now comes the version 2.0 that will be valuable and thought the world Professional: I reveal the first images from a leaked document that Google has submitted to the Federal Communications Commission, the body that regulates communications in the United States.

The new Glass as mentioned are folding as a normal pair of glasses and have a more powerful technological equipment, with support Wi-Fi 5GHz, Intel faster and better camera.

One of the latest news comes directly from the United States and more specifically by the certification FCC that showed off some photographs unit called Google Glass Enterprise Edition that comes as a solution dedicated to the professional environment and not to the final user (who will have its own version, different in many components) as you may also guess from the name. According to the findings in recent months it seems that the changes relate to the adoption of a SoC Intel Atom instead of the previous Texas Instruments OMAP 4430 (definitely outdated and inefficient from the point of view of energy) as well as a battery improved so by improving contemporaneously operational autonomy.

It will have a folding area just before the prism of the projector which will decrease the overall size when not in use. And according to rumors it would have improved heat management (thanks to the new Intel SoC) while new antennas and a new chip would also manage Wi-Fi with a frequency of 5 GHz so you can play the best streaming video in a professional environment while a new prism larger would allow a better view on the images projected by reducing operator fatigue.
