The demonstration is the third edition of Maker Faire Rome, the largest fair of innovation in Europe, which this year showcases spaces of Wisdom over 700 inventions, divided in thematic pavilions. It is no coincidence that such an event takes place in University City, as explained by the Rector, Eugenio Gaudio: “It is the most appropriate forum. This is where the skills are formed. Our students, but not only them, will come into contact with reality, small and large, and to have this knowledge. ” Because, as recalled Gaudio, “The university is a place where, in addition to making teaching and research is put into practice the critical knowledge, employing it on land.”
REVOLUTION
A true creative revolution that “invades” each sector, as well as the Maker Faire will invade the campus of the oldest university in the capital. “For our university is an investment,” stresses Gaudio, “But, when it was proposed to hold here the Maker Faire, we had no doubts: the Senate and the board of directors unanimously voted in favor. This event, which is set here, is the past and the future that come in contact. In a historic moment like the one we are going through, if we focus on the challenge of young people we lose, we lose the challenge of the future “.
INVENTIONS
