The hackathon is organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Rome in collaboration with H-Farm and coordinated by Stefano Micelli. It is an exciting initiative, which sees fight against each other hundreds of hackers, in an exciting challenge: 24 hours of time to develop an original idea to rethink the home through technologies that connect to each other our household items , making them intelligent and flexible. A baby monitor that illuminates and informs
AUGH, winner of the prize, is a lamp with totem and sensors with built-in microphones. But AUGH is also a baby monitor, able to recognize the baby’s crying, brighten a room and send notifications to parents. This is not all: the lamp clever, it can also be integrated with a system to tell fairy tales. It is an open source, of course, which then allows integration to users.
The Prize was awarded instead to bow I’n’spirati, a product for a change of air and thought to improve the quality of sleep, purifying the air in the places where we sleep and collecting environmental data. The award goes Adopen Valcucine Kitchen, a project created around the theme of food waste, designed with the aim to avoid waste.
