At Maker Faire, the event dedicated to new innovations in the world, which will run until October 5 in Rome, there is also AUGH, the lamp media of the future storytellers.
At the exhibition dedicated to innovations in the world which kicked off on October 3 are taking part in many creative, young and old, that in the whole world, without major funding behind but with some great ideas, they are ready to dictate the rules of the future of technology.
After Michele Anoè that at Maker Faire presents the Layers , the first Automobile printed in 3D, and Anjar Contractor, mechanical engineer Texan with the 3D printer prepares the pizza, we also found AUGH , the lamp media of the future.
AUGH is a lamp that has been designed and built to meet the needs of families and children. The lamp, equipped with sensors and microphones, lights up when the baby cries, alerting parents with notification through the baby monitor. You are so tired at night that you do not want to read the ‘bedtime story’ to your child? Do not worry, we think the lamp: AUGH is able to tell stories pre-registered for the child, with the possibility of projecting the image on a monitor. Thanks to this clever lamp AUGH the team has received awards SLAMP and Maker Faire, because it is a ‘technological idea more innovative and original’.
Maker Faire Rome – The European Edition is a project promoted by the Chamber of Commerce of Rome and organized by its Special Asset room. Curators of the exhibition are Massimo Banzi, co-founder of Arduino and Riccardo Luna. This year’s program has grown a lot: the Maker Faire will be the closing event of ‘”Innovation Week”, a seven-day debates, meetings and forums dedicated to the new frontiers of the digital revolution.
