HTC gives selfie (and not only) – Computer Point

Rome – At the end of the event Double Exposure arrived but without the much-talked-about new Nexus 9, with HTC who wanted to rather focus on photography by mobile gadget presenting a new terminal and a selfie ” action camera “from the form to say the least unusual.

The show’s theme Taiwanese manufacturer has therefore seen the presentation of HTC Desire Eye, mid-range smartphone but with a call to greatness, thought to take a picture by yourself and do it big thanks to a 13-megapixel-camera selfie (same resolution as the one on the back) accompanied by a dual LED flash. Camera selfie in part, the allocation of Desire Eye can count on a Full HD screen, 5.2-inch, quad-core Snapdragon processor 801 to 2.3GHz, 2 gigabytes of RAM, 16 gigabytes of storage, expandable through the slot for cards microSD memory and everything needed to make a product still quite interesting also on the connectivity and hardware equipment.

Desire Eye
currently does not have a price, while it is known that the additional functionality of the app Photos on the terminal will be transferred also the HTC One M8 through a special software upgrade integrato.L’altro product presented by HTC during the event Double Exposure is RE, bizarre camera with the form of mini-periscope that the corporation has chosen to Asian advertise as the “GoPro for the rest of us”: the “action camera” costs $ 199 and has no screen (using the smartphone), is waterproof, you check with the integrated button (a short click to shoot one photo, one of long duration to shoot video) and the appropriate app for iOS and Android to access photos and videos captured by the device.
With RE HTC says it has taken an important step for its technological and commercial evolution , an organization that is looking for new business and you do not fossilize only on the smartphone market. Daughter of this evolution is also Zoe, an app for Android (and soon for iOS) designed to turn photos and video into a “video stream” that HTC users can share on the appropriate social network dedicated to them: from here on out will not be most exclusive smartphone at home.
