Amazon, here is the new devices: the e-book reader to the tablet for … – The Messenger

Amazon updates its line of Kindle Fire tablet with new devices and a refresh of the existing ones.

The products, available from October but already booked, aim to cover all areas of the market. They range from 99 euro’s Fire HD, six inches, and in 5 colors, up to 599 euro’s Fire HDX 8.9-inch with 64 GB of memory and 4G connectivity.

Available on Amazon.com is now only Kids HD Edition, with an eye-catching case, two-year warranty and content unsuitable for children.

The Fire HD comes in two sizes, 6 and 7 inches, and in five colors. The ecosystem of content includes more than 33 million songs, books, apps and android games, including Facebook, Netflix, and Minecraft, with unlimited free storage in the cloud which also includes pictures taken with the front and rear camera.

The Fire HD is based on the new operating system OS 4 Fire ‘Sangria (optimized version of Android), as well as the Fire HDX, top of the range list that starts from 379 euro. The device has a quad-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 2.5 GHz with fast graphics engine of 70% compared to the previous generation.

Also available with LTE connectivity, has a front-facing camera for HD video chat and selfie plus a rear 8-megapixel camera with flash and stabilizer. The screen, Amazon points out, has more than 4 million pixels at 339 ppi, 30% higher than the Retina display iPad.

Designed for Younger Kids Edition of the Fire HD with a childproof homes, 2 year warranty and 365 days of free access to the content of the ad hoc Amazon FreeTime. For the kids the new Kindle: Touch screen, from 59 euro with Free Time.
