The wait is over. After the first launch in nine countries, on April 24, the Apple Watch will also be available in Italy from June 26 . The Cupertino company announced, in fact, seven other countries where it will be placed on the market the technological gem from Apple: it is, in addition to Italy, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland and Taiwan.
The watch will no longer necessarily be booked online, but will be available for purchase in-store.
Imoltre, customers who purchase an Apple store will also be offered the service personnel setup, customize and associate Watch your Apple iPhone. The device supports only terminals supported by iOS 8.2: iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
No official, yet, on prices, which in any case should align with those of other European countries : 399 € for the Sport model by 38 mm and 449 euro for the model to 42 mm; Watch the model to 649 euro for the 38 mm to 699 euro for the 42 mm and, finally, the Gold Edition version should start from 11,000 Euros. Prices are for the versions “basic”, any additional straps will significantly increase the price.
The characteristics of the three models
Apple Watch Sport: is the most versatile and light, perfect for sports people and dynamics. The case is made of anodized aluminum and the retina display is protected by a special glass reinforced Ion-X.
Apple Watch: is the version of “intermediate”, the cabinet is made of stainless steel in color or black metal sidereal, the display is protected by a robust sapphire crystal glass.
Apple Watch Edition: This version is definitely intended for a small circle of people. The cabinet is made of alloys of gold rose and yellow gold 18 carat, the display is protected by a robust sapphire crystal glass.
The hardware inside the box is the same for all three versions on the market.
