(Agr) Performed with the successful launch of the Sentinel 2, the new European satellite to monitor the health of the Earth. The launch took place on Tuesday at 3.51, now Italian, from Kourou (French Guyana) with a Vega launcher. Sentinel 2 is the second satellite of the European Copernicus program, launched by the EU Commission and the European Space Agency (Esa). This satellite, with its innovative tools, it will show the planet as never has been done so far and will be able to reveal in unprecedented detail. Among the objectives are the crop monitoring and forecasting of environmental disatrsi.
