Final Fantasy XV: the adolescence, the boy band and the freedom of the open road – The Sun 24 Hours

Final Fantasy XV trailer

At times, it seems like a novel of formation, a clip of a boy band of the Nineties, most often a bad copy of a road movie of the series B. But Final Fantasy has to make up for it all: ten years of development, one story that does not stand up and rush to burn the stages at all costs. The defects of this title the legendary are a small thing compared to the feeling of freedom and fantasy that belongs to the Dna of the series that represents the highest point of role-playing games japanese. The new combat system that sends in the cellar, the old turn-based mode works despite some problems too with the camera.

What we liked. The soft hair, the vintage clothing, the architecture neoclassical: Final Fantasy XV is a pleasure for the view. It has always been and is more so today. It is rare to get lost in videogames. It will also be about the characters and the sensitivity all japanese to take care of every single detail (from the food to the flowers) but the time of the game magically becomes an independent variable.
What we liked. We start from the tram: prince Noctis, together with three friends, and cronies left the palace, in order to reach Altissia, the city where he will have to marry the princess Lunafreya celebrating the peace between the kingdoms of Lucis and Niflheim. Clearly that’s going to happen all over but nothing really surprising. The plot is in fact a detail, the game is the sum of the fighting, min-games, and exploration that are part of the history of this series.
