By 2015, WhatsApp had promised the ability to make voice calls using VoIP, and finally that promise became a reality. At least for a while ‘.
As reported by the website Android Police, yesterday some users of Android version have in fact been able to try this new feature.
When they called WhatsApp another user, VoIP calls are abilitavano even for the latter, provided they possess a fairly recent version of the app.
It was enough to use the version 2.11.528 (present in Google Play Store) or 2.11.531 (found on the official website) because receiving a voice call via WhatsApp attivasse this possibility.
So, in a few hours the users for which it had been enabled began to call as many friends as possible, which in turn did the same.
After a time, WhatsApp has decided to suspend the system calls: who is able to activate the call can continue to use them, but to call their friends will not make them possible to call from the app.
Yesterday’s short, all the air has to have been more a day of test, in which WhatsApp could monitor for a certain period, the operation of the system.
If all goes well then it becomes possible that soon calls are rehabilitated globally.
