virtual Reality, the Oculus Rift on sale September 20 in Europe, but not in Italy

the vision for the Facebook virtual reality, the Oculus Rift, arriving in Europe. After the US launch, the company announced that from September 20 the Oculus Rift will be available in France, Germany and the UK as well as in Canada.
Meanwhile, in an already competitive market even Intel officially launches. After rumors of recent months, the company has unveiled Project Alloy, device to “dive” into reality. Intel’s goal is to offer the design of the device to a third party that the produce and the lead on the market.
The Intel announcement came at the opening of the Forum for developers in San Francisco. The CEO Brian Krzanich showed on stage a prototype viewer experiences “immersive,” in which the real objects blend with the virtual environment. Alloy leverages RealSense, the 3D camera technology, and has no wires need not be connected to a PC performance enhanced to work.
Among the partnerships announced by Intel also the one with Microsoft to optimize Windows-based content. The company does not produce directly at the viewer, but it will open the technology to third parties.
Facebook has instead expanded the market for its Oculus Rift viewers. In addition to the US, from today you can already pre-order in Canada and in some European countries. The price is 699 euro; in-store deliveries and purchases – in selected chains and brands such as Saturn, Harrods and John Lewis – will start on September 20. For Italy there is still no release date.
