On July just ended was the warmest month on Earth since 1880 , that is, since temperature recordings began. According to NASA, last month the earth’s surface has clocked 0.84 degrees Celsius higher than the average, snatching the record to July 2011 which had stopped at the most 0.74 degrees. The ranking of the five warmest months of the planet continues with July 2015, July 2009 and August 2014.
“July was the hottest month ever since instrumental measurements” Temperature, tweeted started Gavin Schmidt, head of NASA climatologists, reiterating that there is a “99% chance” that 2016 will set a new annual record on the thermometer after those of 2014 and 2015.
