Barcelona – At first glance, the new Galaxy S7 are virtually impossible to distinguish from S6: made with the same shapes and materials, have rather different news hidden inside. Presented during the Unpacked that preceded the opening of the Mobile World Congress, the Galaxy S7 confirmed in two versions and in two sizes.

The Galaxy S7 has a screen Quad HD Super AMOLED 5.1 inch great as that dell’S6, but with the slightly different shell sizes – even if it is impossible to notice the millimeter thick and 15 more grams of added weight. For Galaxy S7 edge, however, Samsung has focused on a diagonal from the first model with curved screen, but do not overdo it, as with 5.7-inch edge dell’S6 Plus: in this case, the display is Super Quad HD AMOLED with a resolution of 2560 × 1440, which spread on the 5.5-inch diagonal is 534 pixels per inch (the sull’S7 density instead of 577 ppi).

Both have the function always on , to show time, calendar, notifications or personalized information display even with the phone locked. Samsung estimated that the consumption of this option is about 1% of battery per hour, enough to not have to worry about battery life.

The body is still in the glass with aluminum edges, and despite is free of caps to the output of the headphones and the charger input is resistant to dust and water in the event of diving up to 1 meter deep and not more than 30 minutes in duration .

Inside is a 64-bit octa-core Exynos processor, 32GB of memory with 4 GB of RAM, and back to the slot for the microSD, to add up to an additional 200GB .

The battery of 3000 mAh and one 3600 mAh S7 S7 edge promise autonomy from morning evening. Thanks to water cooling (as in the Lumia 950) and the optimization of energy consumption introduced into the Game Launcher: with this feature, in fact, you can choose to save power and reduce the definition graphics the games that do not have big needs (like Angry Birds or Crush Candy, for instance).

the camera is only 12 megapixels, but with very bright aperture (f / 1.7) and Dual Pixel technology, allowing you to focus faster and more accurately than before, even in poor lighting conditions. In addition, Samsung has managed to lower to just 0.46 mm the lens projecting from the back cover of the phone.

Several new features also on the edges of the edge version: in addition to the usual 5 favorite contacts and tools (ruler, compass and flashlight with brightness control), you can now scroll through the news, even sports, choose up to 10 shortcuts to applications, and other 10 towards particular actions , such as the composition of a email to a specific contact, the opening of a chat in particular, the creation of a note or an event calendar or viewing bookmarks in the browser.
