New year, new functions: it seems to be the motto of which Twitter in these hours announced that soon introduce a new option for its users.
The function in question is called “While you were gone” (While you were away, in English) and allows users to find on your homepage tweets most important, missed while away from the social network.
Most likely it will be the number preferences and retweet to weigh on the choice of the messages to be highlighted, that is, those that users will find themselves in evidence, and the function is reversible, that is, once installed, if not like, will be disistallata.
The new way to experience the social network will be active only a few days after the user stops connect: the “While You Were Away” is just one of a number of new features and improvements that should stimulate second Twitter its user base and get a slice of inactive users to get back on the microblogging platform.
“We are exploring ways to detect tweet relevant content of interest so that they are easy to find – whether it remains on Twitter all the day or for a visit of a few minutes – while preserving the real-time nature of the platform that makes Twitter special, “said the company.
